Right to apply for asylum
ImportantYou have the right to apply for protection (asylum) immediately upon arrival. No one can prevent you from doing so. You must go to the National Arrival Centre in Råde to register your application.
udi.noDUF number - your case ID
After registration you receive your DUF number. This is your identity in the Norwegian immigration system. Always keep it — you will need it for all communication with UDI.
Right to an interpreter
ImportantYou have the right to an interpreter who speaks your language throughout the entire process. The interpreter is bound by strict confidentiality. If you don't understand the interpreter, say so immediately. You can request a male or female interpreter.
